Marwyn is an asset management group based in the UK.
Founded in 2005, Marwyn’s strategy is to invest in and work in partnership with companies led by exceptional executives who bring long standing industry experience and operational expertise (our “Management Partners”). As Europe’s leading sponsor of listed acquisition companies, we launch listed investment vehicles with Management Partners to execute investment strategies as well as being able to invest directly and work alongside already established companies and their management teams.
We aim to generate long term sustainable returns by investing in both listed and unlisted securities of small and mid-cap companies, headquartered in the UK, Europe or North America.
The Manager
Marwyn Investment Management LLP (“MIM LLP”), a UK company regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (registration number: 440137) was appointed as manager of Marwyn Value Investors Limited ("MVI") on 1 April 2021. The Marwyn Partners, James Corsellis (Chief Investment Officer), Antoinette Vanderpuije and Tom Basset are members of the MIM LLP Investment Committee and are supported by a team of 8 investment professionals in London and Jersey.
MIM LLP has also been appointed as manager to the master fund, Marwyn Value Investors LP, second master fund, Marwyn Value Investors II LP, MVI II Co-Invest LP, MVI II DCI I LP, MVI II Holdings I LP and MVI II Holdings II LP.
James Corsellis – Chief Investment Officer
James co-founded Marwyn in 2002 and brings extensive public company experience as well as management and corporate finance expertise across a range of sectors and an extensive network of relationships with co-investors, advisers and other business leaders. Previously he has served as a director of numerous portfolio companies including Advanced Computer Software, BCA Marketplace, Breedon Aggregates & Entertainment One.
Antoinette Vanderpuije – Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer
Antoinette joined Marwyn in 2007 and leads the Finance, Markets and Regulation Team. She has extensive M&A and investment experience with a particular focus on transaction tax structuring and incentive planning. Antoinette previously worked in the finance team at Arcadia Group and prior to that with Bourner Bullock Chartered Accountants. She is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Tax Advisor and holds a BA from University College London.
Tom Basset – Investment Partner
Tom joined Marwyn in 2010 from the Private Equity Transaction Services Group at Deloitte. He leads the investment team where he is involved in the origination and assessment of new investment opportunities, transaction execution, coordinating capital market and M&A processes and providing strategic corporate advice to portfolio company management teams. Tom is a qualified Chartered Accountant and graduated from Durham University with a BA (Hons) in Economics.
